Custom Formatters on Drupal.org
Within the last 12 hours I contacted the creator of the Custom Formatters module for Drupal trying to find out if there was a centralized place for Custom Formatters & I offered to make one if there wasn't. . Stuart informed me that there was not currently a place, and that he was too busy to build one. The idea of using Drupal.org was floated, but it doesn't have the level of filtering that we will need for this project. This is one of many upcoming blog posts which will analyze how the human mind works and why. Upon trying to establish various cooperative efforts, I have run into many road blocks. The road blocks are not coming from the ideas, they are coming from the people that are unwilling to accept or apply these ideas. Identifying WTF was wrong with these people (who had solutions to their problems lying in front of their face, yet they chose not to apply them) has become one of my primary focuses.
